The previous thread I started was about 'concept' albums, and I hope it continues to grow.
My attempt at such was never meant as a means to financial success, just a learning experience.
But it got me thinking...
That's always a dangerous thing. <grin>

When I was a very young musician, I got paid $50 a gig to play Taps at funerals. Goes without saying who these funerals were for.
That was dang good money at the time, considering the requirements.
As an older, wiser person (at least I hope I am) I really wish I had never accepted that money.

Sometimes we spend so much time trying to make money at something and miss the true value of what we have to offer.
Just wanted to throw that out there and get it off my chest.
Maybe others have a similar experience, or am I just weird?
