Smooth - the guitar solo adds some welcome grit.
I think the vocals are a little too far forward but more to the point the bass n drums are a little too far back so provide a gentle pulse rather than propulsion but I assume that's what you were aiming for.

Cheers

Very pleasant synth vocal and band and the style sounds like a Stevie song.
He is certainly a good one to pay tribute to

Excellent guitar by you - tone and chops.

And a nice mix.

Enjoyed it!

Laurent, great job on this one.
I really liked the synth vocal and the lyrics.
That EP make a super backing track for them.
Super mix

Hi Laurent,

Most promising song. I particularly liked the soloists - excellent.

A couple of suggestions:
1. Vocals - a bit too loud and also a bit too boomy which masks the bass and drums. Maybe roll-off the EQ starting around 180hz.
2. Bass and drums too low in the mix.
3. Too many words

Worth working on
Best Regards
Nigel

Laurent,

Stevie refers to Stevie Wonder?
I can feel his influence in every part of this song.
I think it's a wonderful tribute song.
The arrangement is also great.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Thanks Nigel for the comments and constructive criticism.
It's true that the voice dominates a little and the mixing could be reviewed.

Thanks for the nice comments, yes it is a tribute to Stevie Wonder (no pretension about it).
The style guided me for the melody and the lyrics.

That Solaria sounds fantastic. You've created a gentle, flowing melody. I agree with Ray about some of the levels in the mix; however, the song and instrumentation is very good.

Hi Laurent ! Eh bien, voilà du beau travail ! Rythme entraînant, belle mélodie, chant bien en place et suave. C'est tellement agréable à écouter que cela me donne envie de travailler sur une samba, dès que j'en aurai l'occasion. En tous cas, bravo
