The Yu tribe occupy the Isle of Yu on planet Safra - as in my "Isle of Yu Train Ride" instrumental - and when played on traditional instruments this dance tune is supposed to bring rain, but as there are no Yu folk on this planet it's not guaranteed to work. I got a bit of thunder while playing it, but no rain, so if the listener finds it suddenly raining you're either unlucky, lucky, or you just don't care, but either way I can't take any responsibility for it. However, if you play it outdoors, please take an umbrella.

There was a lot happening there! My favorite part was the fiddle. And as a former dancer, I have to say that the slide at 2:50 fit the mood of the music perfectly.
Chay, another fun romp through your world. Great job focusing the band on your theme and producing a seamless musical journey for the listener. You've done your usual great job selecting and trading off lead instruments. Sounds like you might have placed them slightly deeper into the mix...at any rate, they sound great and LOVE the way you've mixed this. Super song!

Chay, I'm gonna start calling you the mix master. How you continue to mix so many tracks into the perfect final mix always amazes me. Another outstanding instrumental.

Thanks for the response, Ghostgum. East of the Isle of Yu is also the Isle of Yutu.

Thanks for listening and responding, Beth. The 'slides' are my own 3D modelling graphics. I use the same model with different hairstyles and outfits in many of those images. She's actually Deya the Deya of Deya (Goddess the Goddess [leader] of planet Goddess) from a trilogy-length novel I wrote and foolishly self-published 11 years ago. Those specific images I created for my instrumental "Deya Flows V2", 1 of 5 different versions of the same chord structure, on which I also wrote the "Flowing Lady Deya" song.

Thanks for the positive response, Bob. Tracks-wise this was my most ambitious yet, but I initially had the 2nd and longest guitar solo only half as long, with an organ solo following, but it didn't really flow, so I kept the long solo in. As I felt it was just too long I broke it up a little by having the thunder sound effect come in. At least that made it possible to pretend it was a failed rain song.

Thanks for listening and commenting, Ron. I think I'm still at the rank of Mix-master Corporal (see my reply to Mario below), but I'm ambitious!

Thanks for the response, Floyd. I like the way that 1st guitar solo zooms in - it was one of those lucky breaks with a sample - but as I replied to Bob above, I would have preferred the 2nd solo to have been a bit shorter.

Thanks for the great response, Mario. I think my current rank is Mix-master Corporal as I'm still on a learning curve. I hope to soon get promoted to Mix-master Sergeant - though after that I like the idea of going over to naval ranks (though Mix-master General sounds good) as I often find myself mispronouncing 'admiral' as 'admirable', thus my ambition is to one day become a Mix-master Admirable!

Apologies. This is brief as we continue to have internet issues after the hurricane.
Epic and complex and a great mix.
Enjoyed it!

It's a bit busy, but it puts me in a good mood, what more could you want? Nice guitar noodling!
Thanks, B.D. A busy dance was the idea!

Wow very cool song. Loved the electronic drums. Organ was excellent. Lots of stuff going on the song. Very good mix. tough to do keeping them from masking each other. Well done
