"Best I recall if you have NI 6 you are good to go"
Partially true. It depends. Some instruments released in last two years (by NI) will not work with Kont.6. On the top of that, some earlier instruments that were made for K6 are no longer working with K6, if you updated them through Native Access, and to make them work again (in K6), legacy installers must be re-run.
There are quite a few of us here patiently waiting for a long due VST3 support...
