Yes, and while you are at it, make "cut time" a real first class citizen, both in the time signature display and how the bars work, so that a bar has a one-to-one correspondence to sheet music written in 6/8, etc, and cut time. As it is now, to enter chords for tunes in these time signatures, you have to double up and put two measures worth of chords in each bar. It gets very confusing.

I can't believe after all these years this hasn't been done. This is what is wrong with Band in a Box and their development philosophy. They don't seem to understand that details matter, especially if you are trying to attract new customers and claim you make it easy to create backing tracks. I have bandmates I could turn on to using Band in a Box, but this kind of stuff makes it a no go. It should have been fixed long ago.
