But, I agree that this does appear to be a different type of algorihym - sems to have the Melodyne blobs. I tried it on our test case. There was NO sound on the bass track (first 32 bars below) . The bass was mixed in on the Kick Drum track. And I didn't and wouldn't even try to adjust anything manually.
