It should be able to be achieved by setting the start bar of the chorus to bar 9, like this:

When you mention: "you know the type of repeat that is usually indicated by a 1 and a line then a 2 and a line." I think also that you are referring to a Tag Ending. Could that be correct?

What version / build of BIAB are you using? There have been improvements in recent years to some of these points.
