Hello everyone.
I've been absent due to gallbladder problems and a prolonged post-op convalescence - the surgeon did a perfect job but a tiny amount of 'sludge' from the offending organ spilled into the bile duct and I had a bad infection made worse by being type 2 diabetic.

Enough of all that! I retire at the end of September and I'm now working three days a week as I phase myself out and handover to the successor I've recruited. My two partners (we did a MBO together ten years ago) have bought me out and I must now make the most of my days and years. My wife and I plan to move down to the Cornish coast in a few months. I can now spend more time making music and already have some new songs on the go.

Glad to be back!

John

This is almost scairy John. I'm type II diabetic too. But no gallbladder problems.

I also retired last year. Was working 3 days a week part-time, then quit as my health got too bad to work like that. I'm fully enjoying my retirement. Wifie's retired too so we're drawing all that big time SS monthly payment from uncle scam. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Go fishin' when I want. Fly airplanes when I want/the weather permiting, sleep late as I want ... blah blah blah blah, etc. et,el.
