To visualize what I am talking about, you have to use track view with partial regenerations. Segments get somewhat altered prior to bar being regenerated. Meaning, If you use a partial regen on "only" bar Two, likely it will capture the tail of bar One beyond standard zero crossing, musically. It is not as strict as it seems. So dragging out strict section (bar Two) into DAW, might sound choppy.

In theory block drag out could work if a user would be allowed to define offset, let say 1/4 of a bar or so from each side of selection to feather in results in DAW. This should be OK for Track View as you can do selection freehand, but in Chord View it would need some kind of basic offset option.
