Man Ronnie, I really, really like this one. Good write and sung with such feeling! I thought your vocals were especially good on this one, good ideas. From a mixing standpoint I really like your bass vocal, but thought it was just a bit loud or up front in the mix. I thought the steel intro was good, you always choose such good steel parts. After the intro it seemed to my ears as though the steel could be up a little more in the mix. It was also a nice lead guitar sound near the end, but the volume was so low it was very difficult to hear. Since your system crashed and you've lost your original recordings, it's probably impossible to change anything (that sucks man, I've been there). But this is a very strong song IMO, so I included my thoughts in case you give it another try.
