I just installed my 2024 BIAB upgrade over my prior BIAB (2019). For some reason when I open Song Picker it says I don't have any songs.
So I invoke Song Finder to search all my drives, and sure enough it finds a huge list of them.
Is there a way to copy/transport all those results from Song Finder over to Song Picker so it sees them next time ?
Surely I don't have to laboriously copy down where the locations are of all those found songs and input them manually into Song Finder somehow.
Say it isn't so....

Just got off with Tech Support, and I'm screwed.
Answer is I have to create ONE folder/path in Song Picker. Then manually copy all the songs I find in my drives to it, e.g. cannot move ANYTHING from Song Finder (even though it finds all songs in my PC system) into Song Picker.
Guess I'm getting paid back for my years of sloppy installs. And my wife is a librarian. But lesson learned...

WOW Moulti, a Jedi Master. You saved me <HOURS>. I thought there'd be a better, smart way, but Tech Support leans to
brute force I guess. I'd seen Everything before (but never looked into it), but never realized its utility and power. I've got
SEVEN external SSDs. You can imagine the PITA having to search through all of them.

Jim I’ll try to find Moulti’s answer tomorrow and post it here and then mark it Resolved. It involved using a free file management utility called Everything” to quickly search and organize files on all hard drives. I’d seen that utility before but didn’t realize it’s power and applicability to my problem. Moulti might have responded in a PM to me and not via the Forum. Can’t remember…

You install everything here: https://www.voidtools.com/Then after indexing all your disks (a few minutes, it is very fast), you launch a search for your songs in all the disks (*.sgu), then you sort them by location. And finally after selecting the right songs, you MOVE or copy them to the right directory. 1 hour max for the whole thing.

Thanks for letting Bob know about the file finding utility program, "Everything". I downloaded and installed Everything and have quickly fallen in love with it. Everything is much, much easier to use than the Windows File Explorer for discovering what files you have and where they are located.
