Hello!
I would like to have chord changes highlighted during playback in Chord Sheet view on the half measure. BIAB highlights each current measure on beat 1, but I would like it to highlight each measure on beat 1 and beat 3, as there are changes on beat 3 in the backing track I have created.
I haven't been able to figure out if/how this would be possible, if anyone could help me I would be super grateful!
I'm a public school music teacher and it would be very useful for my students to see each chord change highlighted instead of only the current measure being highlighted, if you have a workaround in mind or other method for showing this clearly please let me know!

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any way to highlight only half of the chord cell. There are ways to change the colors of many parts of the chord cell display, but they all seem to work on the entire chord cell. Others may know more.

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any way to highlight only half of the chord cell. There are ways to change the colors of many parts of the chord cell display, but they all seem to work on the entire chord cell. Others may know more. That's correct - there is no way to highlight each beat in the chord sheet. It may be better to view the Notation Window, as that will highlight notes as they play - different than chords I know, but it shows the chords there too.

I understand what you are trying to do. You are a good teacher trying to excite your students. But in this case best to teach them to use their ears instead of their eyes. Don't try to dumb it down too much. Make them work a little harder and it will pay off in the long run.
