Echo Canyon Echo Canyon, also called Lover's Leap, has a rich history. It is believed that on every full moon the souls of those whom leaped to their death will circle around the canyon. If a brave person will sit on the canyon's rim's edge and plays the correct notes on his wooden flute the heavens will open and the souls will be forever gone from the canyon. But play the wrong notes and evil forces will come and take your soul. So there you are sitting on the canyon's edge with a full moon to your back, playing your flute, listening to the flute echoes, and hoping that the heavens do open and that you will not die. Many have tried and all have failed. BiaB style = Awaken1 = Slow, Mystic New Age Tempo = 30 PBM I deleted the string track. Mario,
The atmosphere that this song creates is just beautiful... No one does this style of music like you.
The mix is superb and that flute is stunning.

Hey there Maro, another great sound track. I closed my eyes and saw visions in my mind of my last trip to the Grand Canyon. I remember a while ago fidlling around with my guitar that with an echo effect. I came up with a little riff and thought about continuing on with in to a full melody with a title of Echo Canyon. It never came together, and that's a god thing. I don't have half the imagination you do, and yours is much beter!

Mario, absolutely, achingly, beautifully ethereal. Love what you set the thrumming backdrop and then have the strands of melody peek out. Really nice setup on the Echo Canyon lore, and superb execution, as always. Love what you do with these moody pieces!

Very soothing, Mario. No threat of evil forces! Just a subjective wish, but I found myself wanting the solo flute to rise up and out of that lush atmospheric sound more...or maybe two flutes like dancing birds in an updraft?

There is really a beautiful work of sound on this piece Mario. We listen to it with our eyes closed like a journey. Laurent

Mario, As BYOBand stated, this is 'very soothing', what's not to like? Of course, a tune like this has its place and time, but if one is looking to try to relax at the end of a stress-filled day, then this piece will for sure do the trick. That is unless they read your inspiration for this piece, and death and doom are waiting for the flutist who doesn't measure up! LOL, Just kidding; very beautiful, my friend!

Had a listen yesterday and listening again this morning. You are the king of the ambient genre as far as I'm concerned, very nice!

Good music, though. Nice job on the flute. Haunting.

The heavens are opening! Nicely textured with a gentle ebb and flow of movement. The tune provided a sense of relaxation after a back-to-work Monday.

Another venture into Mario dreamworld. If I ever find myself bay the canyone I'll be very pleased that I don't play the flute!
