Hi, Ray Nails that classic Squeeze vibe. I'm too musically uneducated to hear the other influences.  I'd unfortunately seen Difford and Tilbrook back in the 80's after they broke up with Squeeze and toured as a duo. I really wanted to like that album, but...  Thanks Dave, I know what you mean. I bought the D&T LPs, loved the songs but not the production or presentation. They need a band which is why they are touring with a new model Squeeze now..they realized, eventually. They nearly reunited as a band but depression & anxiety prevented it...pity. Here's a vid of an attempted reunion:
