Yeah, I wasn't sure about the tambo, but I wanted something to make the chorus stand out a bit more.

Thanks, David!

Wow! What a beautiful piece. The voices are in perfect harmony. And what a mix (nice reverb), I really like it³. Ozone 11? Nice one! Ontario? I was in Carlisle (a suburb of Toronto) in 1976 at a bluegrass contest. One of my fondest memories...

All around brilliant song and mix. Frome the start it reminded my of another band, sound-wise, but I can't think who. Loved the 2 vocals together.

Some favourite Waoist Adages:
#1: Play on the Way.
#13: Ask not for whom the flower blooms, it blooms for you.
#58: Bring consciousness to it.
#63: On the road to effortlessness, effort must be made.
#92: Be Love Now, the rest will come on its own.

Your lower harmony to Chris's vocal meshes well and creates a nice vocal sound.

Your guitar playing is, once again, gobsmack awesome.

We love the lyric sentiment and have quotes all over the kitchen with the same theme.

This line stands out: “Every moment matters, make the most of today.”
Oft stated but sadly not so often incorporated.

The vocal arrangement is stellar and the vocal interplay makes us feel the joy.

Your excellent guitar soars and Marty per always plays the perfect bass lines.
The mix sets up an outstanding soundstage on our monitors.

Also the vid is uplifting.

Loved it!

Your vocal mix with Chris really worked well also. Whoever thought to use her vocal as a BGV was brilliant. Good stuff all the way around. My biggest coplaint is that it's not on Soundcloud so I can add it to my favorites!

Hey Brad,

Happy you like the song!

Carlisle, yes I know it. Are you still in Ontario? Thanks for checking out the song.

I listened again and it immediately sprang to mind! The vocal style reminded me of "Ghost Dance" on Robbie Robertson's "Music For the Native Americans" album, particularly where there's also a female vocal alongside his. In fact your vocal sound is very much like Robbie's.
Yours is a really excellent song!

Yes, it's very easy to get hung up on the little things and lose sight of the big picture. It's something I struggle with often actually.

Thanks very much you two!

Hey, thanks for the second listen and for turning me onto the Robbie Robertson song! I never paid much attention to his solo stuff. Good tune!

Love this tune Dave. You and Chris sound really cool together. Guitar work was excellent as well especially that descending run. Love Marty's bassline. What a cool groove. Well done.

I think this is the first time I've heard a duet from Chris and you.
Sounds fantastic, just like your guitar and Marty's bass.
The mix is of your usual high standard.
Very well done by everyone involved.

Thanks Scott, and thanks especially for mentioning the descending run! It's my favorite part of the song, I came up with the run first then built the song around it.

You are the only person that mentioned it, probably 'cause you're a guitarist too cool

Thanks, B.D.! We did a duet once before, a year or two ago. A song called "Train, Train".

I see you have a new one up, I'll be along to give it a spin soon.
