Kicked off like Mr Young & Crazy Horse.
The only thing I can nit is that you sang pRyre rather than pyre.

Yes... I agree with you on that nit...

Neil and Crazy Horse was one of my early rock influences. My guidance councilor didn't quite know how to respond when she asked me what I wanted to do after high school, you know, as a career, and I responded that I wanted to do the same thing Neil Young was doing.

Rock and roll! Yeah!

There’s great “attitude” in both your vocal and your guitars performances.
The write has a bit of a Victorian feel to it. Been reading historical novels of late? smile

Enjoyed it!

Hi, Herb.

Big sound to match the lyrics. Nice work on the vocals and guitars.

The song has attitude to spare! smile

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Nice to hear something harder and darker from you for a change. This one really rocks, hefty sound! Nice images, I can hear gravel crunching and echoes howling. Inviting title and the chorus really expresses the tortured mind. Excellent vocal performance. And that guitar solo part...wow! This is what a rock song should sound like!

Thanks.... I love country but I also was raised up on R&R.... I don't actually read a lot of novels..... the books I do read are mostly spy stories and suspense.

Glad you enjoyed it.
