Thanks, Ray. That's helpful. I noticed in a song currently in production that the problem with fading last notes is recurring! Regarding the title, I went back and forth between Sunshine and Madness and Opium Tears; I went with the latter because I was learning at the time I wrote it just how addictive tears and feeling sorry for one's self can be.

The lead and harmony vocals are casual and natural - like we are in the same room with you.  We love the ending vocal note that copies the guitar opening note. Great idea! The arrangement with the bossa groove and sparse band are ideal for the tune. Enjoyed it! J&B

It's a fine gentle rhythm with a good lyric.
The vocal sounds a little fragile and could maybe do with bringing up a tad in the mix.
Love the vocal backing that adds dimension to the overall mix.
