So I'm using real tracks style _JZOG110.sty Jazz Organ Trio. Sounds perfect for what I'm doing. The only issue I have is on the 2nd chorus the drive picks up , alot more livelier. I like it but I need it to do that on the 3 chorus . Is there a way to change that or is it part of the make up of the real track. The song is 3 choruses. Thanks

It sounds to me that the B sub-style is playing in the second chorus. There is a setting for this in Song Settings <Ctrl>N ![[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]](https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=28885&filename=2024-11-04_13-42-05.jpg) If you want the livelier style to play for all 3 choruses, then select the B sub-style (i.e. the Green part marker) at the start of the song: ![[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]](https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=28886&filename=2024-11-04_13-46-19.jpg)

When using choruses, the default behaviour is that the first and last chorus play with substyle A while the middle choruses play with the livelier substyle B.
If I wanted Chorus 1 to be substyle A, Chorus 1 and Chorus 3 to be substyle B, I would use "Edit | Song Form | Unfold (convert to one big chorus)" and then add the blue Substyle A (blue part marker) and the two Substyles B (green part markers) at the appropriate locations. (As I suspect you already know, by repeated clicking on a bar number, substyles cycle through A, B and none.) After manually setting the substyles, the song needs to be regenerated for them to take effect.
Personally, I prefer setting my songs out in one big chorus because it gives me maximum user-control over playback.

I think the checkbox defining the Middle Choruses is not adjustable, so if your song has three, it's varied/busier in the second but, as you saw, back to 'normal' on the third. If your song has four, it's varied/busier in the second and third but normal for the fourth, etc. So, if that's not what you want, use Song Form and one long chorus, using the part markers as described, or even consider F5 to enter a new style where desired.

#1, what Noel said: "Personally, I prefer setting my songs out in one big chorus because it gives me maximum user-control over playback." Existing feature, I guess convenient for practice? I always switch to a single chorus and manually define parts.
While I find suggestions above constructive, I think you should explore a feature: "Partial Regeneration". Each composition is different. There is no silver bullet. Partial regeneration will allow you to explore recorded RT parts to get a better fit for particular section(s). In my view, it's one of the most effective (and often overlooked) tools BIAB has to offer. There is a slight learning curve, but once you figure it out, it's magic.
P.S. While you can enable disable styles and sub styles, your whole composition will sound different with each minor change, unless you either do freeze of the track(s) or partial regeneration (which also semi-freezes track, but allows for further partial regeneration)

I like it but I need it to do that on the 3 chorus . Is there a way to change that or is it part of the make up of the real track. The song is 3 choruses. Thanks As others have noted, it's part of the BIAB internal instructions on multiple chorus songs. Yes, there are ways to change and control how any Style in BIAB plays an arrangement that's customized to the User's preference. Not only you can assign any instrument you want to any style. BIAB has some features of interest that may help you to program BIAB to automatically create complex arrangements in different ways. Start with MultiStyles. MultiStyles are styles that change out instruments, and drums, grooves, feel, and soloists, that add dynamics to your song arrangement. Any Style, even a style that's already part of a MultiStyle, can be made into your own custom MultiStyle and used for a particular song or saved to function with any project just like the ones made by PG Music. Depending on the version you have, your StylePicker may have hundreds, or maybe a thousand or more, pre-made MultiStyles. MultiStyles are activated by Part Markers. Part Markers can be placed on any and every measure of the Chord Sheet. Styles can be associated with up to 24 different Part Markers. All styles default with two sub-styles; a and b. With any project, you can add 22 more substyles, each directed by where you place a Part Marker. Another tool feature BIAB has is the RealTrack Medley Maker. This feature is activated from the RealTracks Picker, MultiPicker or the Tracks Settings and Actions Window. The RealTrack Medley Maker allows each Track in the 24 track BIAB Mixer to have up to 10 additional RealTracks added to any track with a RealTrack assigned. This means that the 24 track Mixer can have a total of 264 instruments assigned. The RT Medley Maker and MultiStyles can be used together will nearly an unlimited opportunity for arranging and generating very complex arrangements in just BIAB without post DAW editing, comping and arranging.
BIAB 2025:RB 2025, Latest builds: Dell Optiplex 7040 Desktop; Windows-10-64 bit, Intel Core i7-6700 3.4GHz CPU and 16 GB Ram Memory.

Like Noel I always use the unfolded one chorus method as it gives me more control over my songs. To add a little more excitement to your chore(s) increase the tempo a little, then return to your original tempo for the verse(s).
When you are at the checkout line and they ask if you found everything say "Why, are you hiding stuff?"

Thanks everyone for the great responses. I will see what works best and let you all know what I'm choosing to go with. Will definitely put all theses suggestions in my notes though.
