I've deleted the original version of this instrumental as while it received positive feedback and was a good arrangement I always felt it lacked something. So I've added warm pad & strings to give the piece some warmth and that alone improved it, then I also added a rhythm guitar which comes in with the drums to give it a bit more body. I reduced the length of the 1st guitar solo to about ½ and brought in tenor sax for the 2nd ½; then I added harp to the piano solo,
though it doesn't start the same time as. I deleted the 2nd guitar solo and replaced it with tenor sax backed by low gain marimba, then I left the 3rd guitar solo in, now the 2nd, and I added low gain harp. So instead of it being guitar, piano, then 2 different guitar solos it's now guitar, sax, piano, sax, guitar.

For BiaB
Strings & Warm Pad: Enya44 - Soft Ev 16 Techno Orche
Piano: Solo Acoustic Piano Ballad ~ John Jarvis
Organ: Country Rock Guitar Solo, Pop Ba ~ Gene Rabbai
Bass Guitar: Bricks Indie Rock w Guitar Solo ~ Tobin Frank

1st Guitar Solo: Bricks Indie Rock w Guitar Solo ~ Mike Durham

Piano Solo: Giggle Rumba Pop AC Piano Solo ~ John Jarvis
Harp: Blissful Celtic Harp Pop ~ Sharlene Wallace
Marimba: Key Island Groove Quartet ~ Todd London

The Bricks guitar, 1st Verdite tenor sax and Modern Groove guitar solos are all hybrids of 2 samples, the 2nd Verdite sax solo is a hybrid of 3.

Chay,

Very nice job on this refresh. The pad & strings really round this tune out and give it a consistent feel.

Love your mix. You always give everything such an excellent polish.

Hi Chay,

That's quite a line-up of tracks! But you blended them all exactly as needed. The lead guitar is really nice. Sax is a stand-out, too. I think the organ really solidified the backing tracks - expanded the soundscape very nicely.

Good music and an excellent, satisfying listen. Very nicely produced and presented.

Best to you,

Alan

Chay, super job on this, as always. The pianos really set the feel for me, and I like how you built the arrangement out from the opening. Per usual, you have a nice narrative arc in your construction, and have provided the listener with a satisfying journey. I'd still place the solos further back in the mix, but, as you say, this is about your vision, not mine. Enjoyed your tune!

Chay, I really like this version.
Super job on the mix, especially considering the number of tracks.
Nice change of tones between the guitar and sax and piano.
Super song.

Well, this one has it all, Chay. The sax solo was a good choice. I also listened to it the other day on YT. I'll paste it here (with selling errors corrected). I like that jazzy harp playing too.

I love the world you create! And the music you provide for it. Yes, the instumentation is fuller and (maybe it's my current mood, but) it gives the elating feel of the change from Winter to Spring. Some extraordinary images too.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Thanks to all who've responded this post. I usually like to reply to everyone individually, but I've had such a 'grey' week I feel depleted of vital energy. The greater part of that has been down to 2 weeks of massive and mind-bogglingly unbelievable miscommunications on the Fiverr site, so in the near future I'll be writing a post for one of the other PG forums on the dangers involved in such, just one key issue being that despite there being *an incredible amount of pure talent there*, not only re vocalists and musicians, the vast majority of individuals will take on jobs they have zero interest in just for the money and lies will be told so that you hire them.

As always we are amazed at the cohesive, dynamic and open sound you achieve from so many tracks.
The keys and sax are really hittin' the note.
The pad, strings and harp all contributed to your goal with the remix.

It's a joy to hear an uplifting song!

Thanks Greg and J&B. I've not been around for awhile due to problems on a few fronts. For one see my post re Fiverr on the Off Topic forum; for the other see the blurb in my shortly to be posted User Showcase post, the old and original version of "Venus Walks".
