What a coincidence, guys. Let's Have Some Fun. That's what my heart tells my mind, and I reach for one of your albums to acknowledge the suggestion. Some excellent lyrics, and Janice sings them so well. Some tongue-twisting phrases at a quick pace with 16 notes and yet every syllable is easily understood. Man, you guys are so inviting, and you really deliver on your invitations.

Man, you both really shine on this one! Knocked it clean out of the park. I love some good ol' western swing to begin with, but I sure thought this was a good write. Fun, uplifting words with a snappy, catchy beat and melody. Janice, you always do well with your vocals, but you really seemed to kick it up a notch here. And, Bud, how do you do it? You always do such great productions, so how do you improve on perfection? You sure seemed to do it here. I never would have guessed you used several different tracks for that lead guitar. Great choice of instruments and they are all perfectly placed. I'm on my 3rd listen now. Thanks for posting guys, this was great!

I'm fond of this song ! It swings like hell ! The vocal fits perfectly into this kinda music and the electric GTR solo sounds very cool...Nice ending too
I also like "Lady Luck, "It 'ain't esay" and "Back water", very nice bluesy music (SC)

Hey Guys,
I listened to this a few days ago and left a comment on SC. Just the past two days have I had enough time to come over here to forum for a few listens.
This gives fun the proper definition. Noah Webster and the Meriam Brothers should have checked with folks before defining fun in dictionaries. But then, ya'll would have been pretty young back then!
That was some mighty fine listening!!!

This is pure fun! I was smiling from the first beat onwards, very appropriate tempo. Uplifting message, nice change of musical scenery  Janice's voice is truly an instrument of its own - like a guitar among guitars and a fiddle among fiddles, so versatile and full of nuances. Very pleasant band, I especially enjoyed that solo guitar. Janne

Well I certainly had fun listening. Great vocals with every syllable of every word clearly sung. You (Janice) have a unique vocal ability to adapt to different styles. Here I am hearing Ruth Etting and Annette Hanshaw (WHO, I hear you ask) in your voice.
Very enjoyable song and Buds bass sounds good too. Thanks a lot for those very positive and supportive comments. We just added some Ruth and Annette to a playlist and will soon listen. We love tunes from that era. Much appreciated! J&B
