My biggest bug is the onslaught and barrage of all the new Style Tracks. If it was, at least, more of previously neglected genres or even something completely new! (Like for instance krautrock, marches, or folk music other than American or Irish.) But no - apparently we still don't have enough jazz and blues and country... 😑 Nothing for me either in BIAB 2025.
Stem separation with time mapping I do much better outside BIAB but I understand that some users might want this in BIAB For what, I wonder - only to re-mix some existing song?? (Which can can be done better in a DAW anyway.) And yes, one can do stem separation for free online; also DAWs have included that feature (like Studio One recently). I am not at all interested in AI lyrics or similar. Same here! I have my very own lyrics; what would I need generated lyrics for?? And even if: there're plenty of options for such on the internet! Shouldn't a unique - and still great! - program like Band-in-a-box focus on feautures only this program can deliver...? I got 200 new real tracks of which many sounds really good - but I will probably not have any use for them - since I will not be able search for them or find them when need to.
I had only one whish " an improved search concept" for all content. Looking for particular tracks I want for a song can be fun at times and tedious at others; it's completely coincidental...

I'll pass update to BIAB 2025, new features are not interested at all except VTS3

I sat for about two hours yesterday, trying to see how easy it was to get around some tasks. Generate midi songs, with perhaps the odd real track. Didn't get anywhere. Any task in BB is now so hard to find. Change default synth, and a myriad of other tasks that should be relatively simple. They are not. This leads me to the so called manual. Well it isn't a HOW TO at all. It just describes what something can do but it doesn't tell you HOW.
Why has BB become so complex?

I..Why has BB become so complex? We have Realband but users did no use it as it took so long to generate up tracks because it uses bbw2 in the background to generate up and render wav files that it inserts. So Biab is trying to be made into a DAW rather than auto-accompaniment that it was made for. If RealBand is made into non destructive editing it can work like the new BB Plugin and generate up and play instantly from disk rather than taking ages to generate up and render to wav files. If we don't want a complex Biab then we can start learning C:\bb\BBPlugin\Files\Band-in-a-Box DAW Plugin Standalone.exe
