Screaming guitar, sad singer, pessimistic lyrics... everything a blues needs is here and well done. My only nit is the title - try saying “lean it on the dreaming tree” 3 times in a row after some wine

Yeah,
I agree with others man. This is awesome. Excellent everything. Lyrics, production, music all great!
Enjoyed it a lot. Thank you, David. You are one agreeable fella, and you are appreciated. Marty,
Your vox fit this song sooo well and a good one it is! Blue Attitude, great job on the guitar. You sold me on the feel with every fill and the solo.
Keep this collaboration going!
Dewey Thanks, Dewey. Best fun ever! Marty, another great lyric. I'm impressed with the alliteration. And vocally love the roll on the "remember". This might be my fave so far. Thanks, Beth. The way I remember it, our granddaughter Charley's second word was alliteration (her first was ornothology). I like the "so far."

Very well performed, mixed and what a great title.
Vic Thanks, Vic! Philosopher Bassman.
Smokin' Guitar Man.
Solid help from the boys and girls of PGMusic.
Just damn good music.
fj Thanks, Floyd! Yeah, no one listens to the bass, let alone the bassman. Screaming guitar, sad singer, pessimistic lyrics... everything a blues needs is here and well done. My only nit is the title - try saying “lean it on the dreaming tree” 3 times in a row after some wine Thanks, Brain. I found that challenge far less challenging than Toy Boat.

Brad Thanks, Brad. And we never get tired of hearing that. Glad you like it. Nice imagery, good changes, great guitars, couldn't ask for more. Terrific job, Marty. Thanks, Bob. Thrilled you're back, man. AND you brought Greg with you.

Man, do we love that lyric!
Janice said, “As a daydreamer myself I love these lines:” When the world feels cold and distant, and shadows fall upon our way, the dreaming tree stands firm, persistent, a beacon through our darkest day.
Your vocal is great and Dave’s fine guitar is mesmerizing. Ethereal evocative blues.
Great mix with, as always, your fine bass so well supporting Dave and the BiaB wrecking crew. Nice supportive vid too.
Awesome!

This is my favorite song on your new album, just like the other nine song Great blues with intriguing chord progression, touching melody and excellent lyrics. The story is really lovely and dreamy... I have read that the rewriting is the most important part of songwriting and here it really shows in its full beauty, the message is clear, every line is meaningful and there isn't a single fill word. "When the world feels cold and distant, and shadows fall upon our way/the dreaming tree stands firm, persistent, a beacon through our darkest day." majestic, WOW! I enjoyed listening to your emotional vocals. Dave exceeds himself again with his superb guitar playing, I enjoy blues playing by Joe Bonamassa, but Dave is even cooler and better! Modern and timeless music, masterpiece both philosophically and musically. Janne

I can clearly hear your bass in the mix, and it sounds excellent. Dave's axe once again soars. A dark feel in the melody. Vocal is strong. I enjoyed my listen.

J&B Thanks very much, Janice & Bud. I know you are a dreamer with positive hope, Janice (and Bud'll tell ya you also make dreams come true {good one, eh, Bud}). You guys are inspirational in so many ways. Thanks again. Hey, Happy Thanksgiving, y'all. Modern and timeless music, masterpiece both philosophically and musically. Janne Janne, your comments are always quite special to me. Thanks. Yeah, I think of John Lennon actually when I review lyrics to remove or rephrase to rid those fill words. He went on and on one time about using the word "just" to fill the syllabic requirement. I recently saw a pic with Dave and Bonamassa, and said that same thing to myself. Joe is good at doing his stuff (obviously), but Dave has so much more stuff. Said it before, Janne, but I wish we lived in walking distance from each other. I can clearly hear your bass in the mix, and it sounds excellent. Dave's axe once again soars. A dark feel in the melody. Vocal is strong. I enjoyed my listen. Thanks, Scott. Hey, just yesterday I broke out all of the Ezekiel Storm music I've downloaded and listened to them coming and going from a jam. Those ghosts who never lived are still alive, man.

Hi Marty,
Cool song and well produced.
I would like your vocals a bit more outfront - but that's just me.
Best Regards Nigel
