Does the Big Lyrics Window deliver what you need? Perhaps you could record that to a Video file of similar and use that while performing live? Not sure if this assists.
From the help:
"The Big Lyrics Window is great for sing along or Karaoke.
This window opens with the [Big Lyrics] toolbar button, from the Lyrics menu, or with the keystrokes Ctrl+Shift+L.
Each word is highlighted as it plays, and the window can be customized by clicking on the [Options] button. Click on any word in the Big Lyrics Window to start the song playing from that point.

The [Options] button allows you to choose a variety of options to display the Big Lyrics Window.
[Tip: The [Big Lyrics] button in the Preferences dialog (Options. | Preferences) also opens the Lyric Window Options.]"
