Season of Solitude

BobH laid this track down a couple of weeks ago. This Sunday we listened to it again and Bob said lets try a violin lead. So via my breath and keyboard controllers I played a Swam violin lead. Bob said that's it, don't add a thing, and lets call it Season of Solitude. So here it is.

PS - I know that this is against the rules because there is no BiaB tracks included so if PGM wants me to delete it I will. I just posted it as some have shown interest in Bob and my Sunday escapades.

Mario, that's a nice guitar part you and Bob have captured, and the violin makes a cool counterpoint. Like the very acoustic tone on the guitar a lot. Not too worried myself about the guidelines for the folks who mostly follow them. That's why they call us a "community" and not an "abbey", right? smile

Mario,

Really sweet sounding. Love the descending base line . . . and yes, that violin makes the song all that it is. Just a terrific piece . . . excellent collaboration. Well done!!

I just wanted to say how lovely it is to see the cooperation of both you and Bob occur the way it did. The guitar in this variation gives it that special touch I love. I completely understand why you wanted to share it, it’s just that it goes against some of our guidelines.

Thanx Ron. The guitar tone was accomplished via my Samic acoustic guitar and a cheap piezo pickup going straight into my DAW. No effects were added. Here is that pickup:

Hi Mario,
There is an Irish sound as I hear there. A real violin would be ideal. Even a viola or, why not a thin whistle because there are beautiful passages where it would be sensational. Very pleasant to listen to in any case. Thank you, Mario.

Hi, Mario.

Nice tune - you two do some fun stuff! smile

There's nothing in the rules requiring you to use BiaB in your compositions, but you do need to be a BiaB user. And that you certainly are!
