I have an old version of BIAB (2014) that I use on two devices, a Windows 10 laptop and a desktop DAW still running on Windows XP.
I've not been using it for a while and have recently started again.
I'm getting something coming up that I’ve never seen before when entering notation using the mouse. Every time I enter a note the following question appears – “Warning: You clicked within 20 Ticks and within 1 semitone of an existing note. Proceed?” Yes, No or Cancel.
This is only happening on the desktop machine and not on the laptop which is how I always remember it being.
I only have a basic knowledge of BIAB and have no idea what the warning means but what I do know is that it’s mighty annoying 😊.
I tried restoring factory settings but that has not changed it. I would be very grateful if anyone can tell me how to stop it. Many thanks in advance.
