I doubt they will show the world how they do this, but what we do know is that it is a short 3 to 5 minute wave file of a studio session, like a strumming guitar for instance. That is most likely played in several keys or chord runs, then when you generate it the program chops it up and rebuilds according to the chord needed, and the bar marker settings.

For this matter RDs are a little different since it just takes. the A parts or B parts plus rolls, fills, flams and such. I would imagine that solos and more difficult tracks take more effort.
