I have 1 song (mrs. robinson) that will not save volumes for some reason?
everytime i open it up they are all at 90 even if they were saved at different levels
only happens on this 1 song I have over 40 songs with real tracks and have never had it happen to them
ideas ?

Ideas:
1. Did this song begin by importing a MIDI file? Perhaps there are control codes that are affecting this song.
2. Try the remedy that used to work when we encountered this problem: save the file while the song is playing. I haven't had to do that in a long time, but you did not mention what version of BIAB you have.
3. Opt, Return to Factory Settings. Yes, I know it's only one song, but just in case...
4. Are the Real Tracks frozen?

Sounds like the volume settings in the style are over-riding your settings. You can open the style in StyleMaker and change this, or it seems there a preference setting as well. I'm not in front of my music computer right now, so I can't tell you the exact setting to change, but I'll try to look it up when I come home from work this evening.

John is probably correct on this one. You can edit the style via the Ctrl Shift F9 hot key combo, or Styles - Style Maker -Edit current style menu option(when the relevant style is the one being used) and then click the Misc. button. You will then see the checkbox for allowing a style to change volumes. Unchecked is off.

Its was the style that was doing this. I changed the style and all is OK
never had this happen before ? I usually use the real tracks for all my songs but when i start writing them I choose a style , then do chord progressions and then choose my real tracks.
I guess the way I'm using biab the style I pick wouldnt matter since all the tracks are replaced with real tracks anyway ? Am I right in assuming this ?
