Cerio.

ive been experimenting with the new pg stem splitter in rb.
because of the fact i have various stereo song masters recorded in big studios on tape. what i'm particularly interested in is as its tape of course one gets wow/flutter and one wants to compensate for that of course.

its early days but so far i find the pg splitter is really interesting me.
plus the fact that, and very importantly rb allows for fractional tempos.
so what i'm aiming at is to use the acw in rb to create a tempo map.and then i can add new tracks to the old split tape masters.

as i said early days...but the pg stem splitter is doing the job for me so far.

i would really like PG to do a video detailing takeing an old tape based stereo song master (with wow/flutter and digitised of course) and in rb re-engineering it and cleaning it/stem splitting/adding new pg session musicians to it.
(rb has certain click/noise removal tools available also ive come to like.)
particularly for new users i feel this would be very usefull.

ive got more experimenting to do but so far the pg stem splitter in conjunction with the acw and new session musicion content ie the combo in rb (which has way more tracks than bb...256 ) might end up being a big leap forward in tarting up old masters and re-engineering them.
(rb handles fractional tempos whereas bb doesnt.)

merry xmas.
