Bring It On Sucka! - Remastered

This is a revisit of one I put together many years ago - one of my first half dozen or so instrumentals using BIAB.

I found the file (plus another similar one) on an old laptop I hadn't fired up in 6 or 8 years. It has Windows XP on it. The only info with the file was the MP3, and the BAIB Style name (TINES). All the backing tracks are BIAB - probably obvious to BIAB users.

Style: Tines

It's a rock instrumental and might be a bit loud, depending on your sound card. But, then, it's rock!

Thanks for any listens and comments.

Alan

I'm doing my best to listen and comment on all the great songs you folks have been posting, and I'm trying to reply to all the comments on my previous post.

Alan. Here is a good sip of invigorating rock. I really like the changes in tone and the guitar that will set the whole house on fire! Quick, the firefighters.

Hi Bob,

You described it exactly the way I'd hoped it would come across. Sometimes it works!

Best to you.

TINES.STY - I think I've used that one too already, and you used it really well, Alan.

Nice rocker, it's hard but still very musical.
If you know any rock singers, this would be a perfect show-off backtrack for him/her.
Well done!

Alan, nice rockin' tune! I'd be shaking my long hair to the beat except...well, that stuff is LONG gone. smile Fun modulations and descending minor chords. Expert stuff, per usual!

Alan, this is a real rocker for sure.
Brilliant use of RTs.
Super mix.

OK, a random thought;
Why does toilet paper need a commercial? Who's not buying it?

Alan,

Great instrumental rock!
It really captures the feel of 1970s rock guitarists.
I think it's been remastered very well.
I also sometimes turn on my old computer.
I have my old songs there, and when I listen to them again I'm always tempted to remaster them with today's technology.
So I understand your feelings.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Oh, we're on, Sucka!! We're on. Well, you're on, that's for sure. And I'm on the list of happy listeners. Another delicious taste of your talent, Alan. Yep, rock has no room for ballads and it HAS to be loud. Well, done.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Hi Alan, Hi Di, How are You?
Wow, that's rock from Rocky! All it's missing is a melody, lyrics and vocals. No, I know it's complicated to make instrumentals so it's all the more commendable here because the song catches you from the beginning and that's the most important thing. Thanks for sharing

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply - things have been pretty busy at our house.

Glad you liked it. Sadly, I don't know any hard rock singers. But I think it holds up okay as an instrumental.

Thanks for the listen and kind words.

Alan

Hi, Ron,

Thanks for tunin' in! I've never had long hair - now at almost 78 I'm happy I have any hair at all.

Thanks for mentioning the modulations. I worked hard at finding the best route for those modulations. I think it worked out okay.

Glad you liked it! Thanks.

Hi marty ...

I thought I'd replied to this a few minutes ago, but it doesn't show that i did. Oh well, I always have ancient age to use as an excuse! Glad you liked it - gotta let that hard rock side out from time-to-time.

I have another one similar to this I'll be posting in a couple of weeks. But will throw in something a little softer between the two.

Take care, my friend.
