I would actually put in in 3 places.
A) Right click on track >Track actions>Save Chord track as midi file
B) general Midi File save options, a the tick of saving just Chord Track(s)
C) instead of Audio export as we have now, I would name it Project export and have Midi options there, including just exporting Chord track(s) as separate files.

You likely know that there are 2 types of Chord tracks? One is Active, that will pick up changes made to chord sheet and one is Static - it will create block chords based on current chord sheet, but will not automatically update itself. Both are important . I guess the most convenient way would be to do a right click on a particular track and save Chord track from there. As you can have 2 or more chord tracks with different modifications.
