A relaxing, Sunday-vibed smooth jazzish instrumental which starts with solo piano, followed by the slow introduction of Hammond organ, tenor sax solo, bass guitar and finally drums. This is the 2nd of my channel-swapped and remixed instrumentals since discovering that my PC's stereo was lower rear end about upper front face.

Piano: Solo Acoustic Piano Ballad ~ John Jarvis
Organ: Country Rock Guitar Solo, Pop Ba ~ Gene Rabbai
Tenor saxophone: Slow Country Pop w/ Tenor Solo ~ Mark Douthit
Bass guitar: Dreamy Pop Quintet ~ Tobin Frank
Drums: Ditto ~ Brian Fullen

192 bars, 4/4, G, 105bpm, 7:29. … Yeah-yeah-yeah, 7:29, but look at this way: a Sunday takes a whole 24 hours and you're not going to ignore one of those! … Pffft.

Just a single image video as I don't have enough of my Sophia model.

Chay, cool leisurely composition. "Sunday-vibe" for sure. Love the slow introduction of the full band. Long instrumentals can get boring (to me), but this one kept my attention. Great job!

Chay, This is an excellent song.
Super arrangement
I liked how you introduced each instrument. That kept me interested for the entire song.
Outstanding use of RTs.
I really liked this song.

Very pleasant, Chay....
I thought the sax could use more reverb.

There are some nice variations in your piece and that makes it very enjoyable to listen to.

Hi Chay,
Very pleasant atmosphere. Yes, obviously the sax deserves the reverb to magnify it. As in the cinema, the editing is done from shots and cut-outs, but it's the most delicate operation, and the one that will make all the difference. Best regards to Sophia

Hi Chay.

This is really lovely listening.
Restful easy-listening is the style of music that sits most comfortably on my psyche.
I love the chord progression you've used.
And the 'band' you've created is a perfect fit.

It's two enthusiastic thumbs up from me!

Pleasant stuff but I was listening for a carried through melody to hold it together.

Well, it worked for us on a Thursday!

We love a sax and this kept us engaged all the way.
Nice mix too.

So all is good with your tune and coffee on a Thursday morning.

A little long without a melody to sustain interest but nicely done.

Thanks, Floyd. Another made the same comment about adding reverb, but I so often find I prefer the raw original. Besides having Audacity I have an app which comes and an extra to my video editing program in which one can adjust the reverb 3 ways - sparkle, room width & room size - with slide controls fro 0 to 100% and one can also preview the entire instrument track, not just a few seconds as in Audacity. But to date I've only used it 3 times, once on tenor sax, once on an organ solo and once on a guitar solo, but each time it made very little difference re quality, while I think the guitar solo would have been better without it.

Thanks for listening and commenting, Noel.

I agree ~ it's the chord progression that makes it work, which sounds like an obvious, but when I composed it a couple of years ago it didn't seem to work while theoretically it should have. I eventually realised that it needed a bridge at the end of each chorus and that in the end made it whole.

Thankd for commenting, Ray, but there's no way of creating a melody line when only using BiaB samples. I'll eventually write a song version and the lyrics will give it that melody.

Thanks J&B! I don't get the Thursday reference ~ is it a day your have to see your probation officers? laugh Whenever anyone mentions Thursday specifically I think of Country Joe & the Fish's "Thursday", which is a beautiful instrumental, though it starts with simple lyrics: "Some people, they find each other. I found you. I found you." So I always feel Thursday as a positive.
