Hi Mike.
As far as I'm aware, Synthmaster Player 2 is still included with BIAB since there is a free version of the software that comes with 550 presets. Synthmaster is not a normal instrument playing synth like Roland Canvas or Coyote Forte. Synthmaster is really big with the kind arpeggiated sounds that are driven by a MIDI chords and used in a lot of today's music.
In BIAB, if you want the usual, general MIDI soft synth, the program comes with Coyote WT and VSTSynthFont. The program also ships with Sforzando which is the soft synth used to drive the HiQ sounds for MIDI Supertracks. Sforzando is not a general MIDI soft synth.
If you have any doubts about these synths, I suggest you use the Live Chat on the bottom lower right of the screen. You can then copy and paste that information in the chat box and get a direct response from PG Music staff.
