Shouldn't the C:\bb\BBPlugin\Files\Band-in-a-Box DAW Plugin Standalone.exe be installed and a desktop shortcut created even if the Plugin installer is not run during install ?
This way it will get users that don't use or have a DAW so don't install the Plugin Installer to have the Lite version of Biab to try out, as this can be used for live shows also with the "Save State" it will instantly "Load State" SGU and play the song.
Most users would not have a clue that there is a Plugin Standalone or where it is so don't try it out.
Come on guys do a bit of promotion with videos !

What's the "Standalone Plugin"? Something midway between BiaB standalone and the VST plugin? I cannot see any documentation about it. There is no manual for the DAW plug-in, and I cannot see any mention in the forum.

I appreciate your promotion of the Standalone edition of the Band-in-a-Box version 7 plugin. You are correct that not much information is available. Navigate to +++ PlugIn Support +++ and the Standalone plugin is presented in three sentences: Band-in-a-Box DAW Plugin Standalone.exe is a special version of the plugin that is not used within any DAW, but instead works as a stand-alone program. This file is useful for troubleshooting or for people who want to run a simplified version of the Band-in-a-Box program. You can use this program to generate tracks quickly and drag them to Explorer. This tells us PG Music is aware there are some people who want to use a simplified version of the Band-in-a-Box program and that PG Music believes the Standalone edition of the plugin fulfills that desire. Hopefully some of the people like Peter Gannon, Tobin, Henry Clarke or Jackdogdude that create Band-in-a-Box videos for YouTube consumption will create a video promoting the version 7 Standalone plugin. There are not many RealBand videos either when compared against the number of videos about RealTracks and Style PAKs.
