This is a remix using the new 2025 BIAB stems feature. This original song was recorded around 2009 with a vocalist friend, Bob and a Yamaha keyboard and PSR style for backing tracks. I used the STUNR+.STY MultiStyle. It's a modern Country style and after importing the stems, syncing with the ACW and choosing a style, this is a single generation render with no partial regenerations or other editing. The arrangement was made using the MultiStyle Part Markers to create the solo's and changing the backing arrangement. All Mixing, Fx's and Mastering were done in BIAB. Enjoy. This Time Love Isn't Blind Added: 12/19/2024 Lyrics: This is the first day without you and so far I'm doing just fine I'd given up on you loving me You'd been treating me so unkind In a crowd you put me down and laughed at me behind my back Don't try anymore, because this time love isn't blind. You use to be the light of my day and even when you'd leave I'd take you back and believe what you'd say thinking we could make it some way You left me so many times before just to come home to try one more time Don't try anymore, because this time love isn't blind. You were the love of my life and now that you've gone I won't take you back, believe what you say or think we can make it some way You left me so many times before just to come home to try one more time Don't try anymore, because this time love isn't blind. Don't try anymore, because this time love isn't blind.

Charlie, that's a cool demo of a new BiaB feature, thanks for posting the details. Very nice backing track, and it fits the vocals really well. Vocals could be a LITTLE louder, as I'm losing some of the lines in the mix. Super job!

Very cool, Charlie. I was quite amazed at how well that new feature picked out vocals especially. It was the first thing I tried, and couldn't wait to hear how all here would use it. This is really a sensational example, sir. Thanks! Very good song, too. Radio quality and what an excellent vocal. Well done, and thanks again.

Cool demo I will most probably never use this feature, but it is still good to know that it exists and is usable.

Great country song. Love the guitar solo.

Hitting on all cylinders here: great song, great vocal, great lyrics. Could've used a lyric sheet, but I made out most of them by ear. Way to go.

Hi Charlie. How impressive is this song and its creation! It's hard to believe that the vocal and this mix are separated by 15 years. To me, it sounded like it was recorded and produced just last week. You really are a BIAB power user! You have shown us all how powerful the stem-splitting function in BIAB can be What also seriously impresses me is that you have literally taken this production directly from Band In A Box without any additional editing. I think many of us are so used to finishing productions in a DAW that it's easy to forget that BIAB is a performance and production powerhouse in its own right. After listening to this, I can understand why so many BIAB users perform live with the software backing them. Thank you so much for posting your work and giving me this insight into the software. All the very best. --Noel

Charlie,
Great groove on this out of the gate. I think it’s a great collection of tracks. Listening with the headphones on, the vocal seems just a bit hot in spots. Maybe a little EQ’ing refinement on it on those higher notes. But that’s a small nit . . . it’s a cool track . . . classic country feel . . . though I kind of get an Elvis feel with this . . . think he would kill that vocal.
Nice work on this!!

Great song Charlie! Super groove and mix. You are the BiaB super hero; you know as much about BiaB as the programmers!

Really great Charlie, so well done.
Only one problem.
The boys at Kill Branch Studios down here on the shootin' range in North Cakalaky say you stole our song.
So the way we reckon it, there's only one way out.
You're gonna have to come on back down here and shoot it out like a man.
If you are the last man standing, Charlie, you get to keep the song.

Charlie, that's a cool demo of a new BiaB feature, thanks for posting the details. Very nice backing track, and it fits the vocals really well. Vocals could be a LITTLE louder, as I'm losing some of the lines in the mix. Super job! Thanks for listening. I believe Soundcloud algorithm squashed this a little hard this time. The mix sounds much better on my PC. I think I uploaded the song as an Mp3 rather than a wav. Thanks. Yes, this new BIAB version is much better than the older Spleeter desktop version I've used for several years. Charlie,

Cool demo I will most probably never use this feature, but it is still good to know that it exists and is usable. Thank you. It's a fun feature that's greatly improved and is so much easier to integrate into BIAB than manually doing it. Great country song. Love the guitar solo. Thanks for listening. I agree this is a good arrangement and I was especially pleased with such results coming from a single render of BIAB. MultiStyles are the best.

All the very best. --Noel Thank you Noel. I always appreciate you taking time to listen as closely as you do and your pertinent comments. BIAB's new Stem-Splitting function and synchronization really takes a lot of work out of producing a song using this technique. I find it easy and saves a lot of time to use the features and tools BIAB has included in the program for years. BIAB can produce very complex and professional song arrangements that are comparable to DAW projects in its own right. Charlie,

Deej Thanks. It is a great collection of tracks and it's also a stock PG Music MultiStyle so the arrangement was as easy as moving Part Markers around bar to bar. I think some folks are not aware that BIAB 'reads ahead' when selecting the audio snippets for the Chord Chart and there are instructions built into the algorithm that provide better selections than a normal render produces. BIAB can select intro audio, outros, fade-in, fade-out, crossfade and change RealTrack instruments all at once in a single measure without any post-generation input necessary by the user. I've always thought that to be quite a feat. You are also correct in hearing an Elvis feel from the vocalist. He was (is) a professional Elvis impersonator for many years. Lol, I had to specifically ask he tone down his Elvis for his rendition of this song for me. I might should have let Elvis sing it.

Aw, they're still mad because the Dillard's beat them out for house band on the Andy Griffith Show, even though they had the home state advantage and still managed to lose. Thanks for listening and tell them Kill Branch Studio boys I think they should have won that Andy Griffith Show audition hands down.
