Unless you are recording audio in Band-in-a-Box, MME is the most stable audio setting in Band-in-a-Box; then WAS.
However, when you are recording audio in Band-in-a-Box best practice is to use the audio interface's ASIO driver as a device specific audio driver normally has the least latency (time from when a note is played to the time a note is heard in playback).
Many audio interfaces have a headphone jack that masks the latency issue by automatically synchronizing computer generated audio and audio you generate.
Welcome back to Band-in-a-Box and welcome to the forum.
