Am I correct to understand that the 2025 PlusPAK will give me the same result as the UltraPAK 2025 Upgrade, but at a cheaper price? If not, what's the difference?

As I understand it, the PlusPAK includes the software upgrade(s) and the new content, whilst the upgrade also includes also all of the existing content. Correct, but to clarify the UltraPAK includes all of the previous UltraPAK and PlusPAK content. There are other types of content that are never included in the UltraPAK or PlusPAK though, such as the Xtra and XPro Styles PAKs, Loops-with-Style PAKs, the most recent 49-PAK, and some Artist Soloist add-ons.

There are other types of content that are never included in the UltraPAK or PlusPAK though, such as the Xtra and XPro Styles PAKs, Loops-with-Style PAKs, the most recent 49-PAK, and some Artist Soloist add-ons. Thanks for clarifying Simon. With hindsight I wasn't clear about what 'all of the existing content' actially meant ... all the UltraPAK content, but no add-on packs.

but basically, with my current UltraPAK 2024 and Xtra Styles, will it make a difference whether I upgrade to 2025 via PlusPAK or UltraPAK 2025? No. The PlusPAK just expects that you already have the previous content installed and you install it over the existing installation. Add-ons are seperate anyway.

Thanks. TBH it's not just that PlusPAK is cheaper, but also (I'm assuming) significantly smaller download size.

Thanks. TBH it's not just that PlusPAK is cheaper, but also (I'm assuming) significantly smaller download size. Yes, though there's an awful lot of the UltraPAK and in either case it downloads in (many) chunks.

It looks like you didn't purchased the 2024 49-PAK - that would account for MIDI SuperTracks sets 41/42 and MIDI Styles Sets 89 being not found. The UltraPAK would include those as 49-PAKs are typically included in later UltraPAKs, plus a few more RealTracks that were included in the 49-PAK, more Playable RealTracks, and more RealDrum Stems. Otherwise what Gordon said is correct.
