My last song (I think) of 2024 for this forum. Thanks to those who keep listening to my songs and offering encouragement and constructive critiques. You guys have make me a better songwriter. A fairly straightforward production and I plan to turn Chorus 3 into a breakdown chorus but wanted to at least get this out there before the end of the year. Dewey, wow, what a very, very COOL song! Super sentiment, craftily developed into a toe tapper of a tune. Love the acoustic band, and your vocals are achingly on point. Very sweet photo, too. Really love your song. Merry Christmas!

Wow, EXTRAordinary, Dewey. This is oh-man-so-good great. Tough love is only tough on the administrator; the recipients get the love. This is one of those times I wish Soundcloud had a DANG I LOVE THIS button. Liking it just doesn't say it. I listened twice just absorbing the goodness, then I dug deeper on the 3rd take. What a terrific band, and a well-crafted master track. You know I always enjoy your vocals, and I especially like it when you tell these stories.
My dad will be 100 in 4 days, and, although he's been gone for 32 years, he's till with me every day. I, too, have one coming about him. I think he knew your dad.

Clever title, one of the best I've heard this year. This is very touching song, very intimate and personal feeling, the lyric is fresh air in this complicated world: "in a world that spreads hate like a cancer/I teach 'em love your neighbor's the answer". Beautiful production and the melody is very pleasant. And your singing is very convincing and heartfelt. This has "big hit" feel in every detail.
