GREAT! How you create these pieces is beyond me smile . You NEVER disappoint. Love the soloists ... guitar, fiddle ... sounds completely live and alike a spontaneous improvisation. So good!

My very best wishes to you and your wife for a good 2025.

Hi Al.
Clever mix of instruments. Pop, Jazz and Gypsy work great together.

Alan,
As I said on SC, it's a busy and beautiful track! What a big clear sound you've assembled! Hearing this make me realize how badly I'm lacking in my playing and how much I need to practice! Oh well, we just have to work with what we have, I guess! Once again, you've done a masterful job assembling this cool track!
Take care, TB

Hi James,

Thank you so very much. Your comments are always uplifting. I was pretty much going for that back porch, spontaneous jam session sound. It's great to hear it came across that way to you.

I don't have a good explanation about how i go about framing the projects. It's rather ad hoc. I don't have a formula per se. Many times, when I'm previewing a style for a song, I'll hear one that won't work for the immediate need, it but plants a seed for a future project. I'll make note of that style and revisit it later - could be days ar weeks later. I'll usually change out some of the indigenous RTs with others to mold the sound closer to the exact sound I have in mind. Then I add a few additional tracks on occasion. It's really no more complicated than that.

I like almost all genres of music, so there are many opportunities for me. Of course, there are quite a few songs I've composed that are 100% from my own brain that I just experiment with by auditioning a variety of RTs and Drum tracks. Sometime I get very good results, other times not so much. But BIAB is a great piece of software.

Happy New Year,

Alan

Hi Viv,

Thanks a bunch. And yeah, it's quite an uncommon amalgamation of styles. Sometimes I get a little adventuresome with the RTs!

Happy New Year. Hope 2025 treats you well.

Hi Torrey,

You are always so kind and supportive. I appreciate that very much. I certainly don't see where you're lacking in any musical skills. Your music is always among the very best on the forum. I can see where your recent medical landscape might have put a bit of a fog over creativity, but your execution is never shy of excellent.

Glad you enjoyed the song! Wishing you the very best and that 2025 gives you blessings you deserve.

Alan
