Is there no way to slow down an MP3 to listen to the notes better
HP Win 11 12 gig ram, Mac mini with 16 gig of ram, BiaB 2025, Realband, Reaper 7, Harrison Mixbus 9 32c , Melodyne 5 editor, Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL, Presonus control app.
If I load an Mp3 and right click on the 100% icon below the tempo, it allows changing the tempo by percentage. Either increase or decrease. You can also change the tempo by tapping either of the two boxes beside the tempo It also works to click on the tempo itself and manually set the tempo to whatever tempo desired.
EDIT: You can also use the Woodshed feature to automatically loop and change the tempo with each loop sequence.

"BiaB 2024, Realband, Reaper, Harrison Mixbus 32c , Melodyne 5 editor" what happens when you drop it in Reaper and change the bpm ?
I'm not understanding the question. Many audio programs have a way to manage tempo changes between the bpm when audio was recorded versus the bpm used during audio playback.

Jim i was trying to learn a lead riff from a song and biab was not changing the tempo other than the timeline changes but the MP3 stays the same.
Charlie that was the trick, i don't know why i missed that. I was fiddling with tempo not tempo percentage
