I have noticed a strange issue with plugins with the new BIAB that I cannot find documented anywhere, and I appreciate anyone attempting recreate it in order to validate my concerns...

I use Klanghelm MJUCjr extensively as a simple and quick compressor plugin, along with Xfer Records Dimension Expander (DE) on some instruments for interesting effect. DE is VST2 only; MJUCjr is installed as both VST2 and VST3. However, whereas DE saves with the file and loads back in successfully, as well as saves to .tgs files and back again, MJUCjr does not in either case. MJUCjr does not save when loaded as either VST2 or VST3.

So, I de-installed MJUCjr altogether, reinstalling it as only VST2, and now it works just fine. I imagine it would work as only VST3 as well, but I haven't tried it. In other words, I am suspecting that the problem resides in having both VST2 and VST3 plugins installed simultaneously, which is possible with many plugins nowadays. Perhaps BIAB is getting confused on loading the song, when seeing both plugins available?

Well, I will say that I'm blown away by BIAB 2025!
