I want a DAW to be powerful yet easy to use. I hate manuals so I need plenty of You Tube "how to" content, friendly forums and Facebook activity. A clean, logical well designed interface where I can work quickly and efficently. It comes loaded with all the plug-ins one needs including melodyne and a stem splitter. It is also very reasonably priced.
Mixcraft ticks all my boxes yet remains a mystery why it is largely ignored and unloved in general.
I've used and discarded most of the popular daws over the years for various reasons.
So Billy, give Mixcraft a look.
