That is essentially what I do except that I copy to F:/bb, which is an internal drive, not USB.

Back in the days when Windows drives were limited to 4GB, one often had little choice but to use multiple drives and partitions. These days there are fewer reasons. Personally I put BB, NI, samples and so on, onto a seperate drive, partly so I don't have to reinstall 3TB if I reinstall Windows and partly so I can use it from Linux without having the clutter of Windows itself in the same place.
