For my concerns:
1. Using some of the Real Drums via the RD Style menu. The Far Right corner gets wrapped back to the Far Left of the Screen. When moving my Mouse Focus to the FL to click my choice, the menu closes. I already have an open Trouble Ticket on this & PG Techs have acknowledged the Bug. I've heard of no fix yet. I am disabled & moving my mouse in split of a second is the only way to overcome this bug. I can't move that fast. :-(
2. Since my reporting that to PG Techs, I've discovered a 'bevy' of bugs:
2.1. Sometimes, (not always) when using the "Play-Loop" feature, the tracks will loop but- no audio output! (These are Audio tracks not MIDI.). Problem has not shown looping MIDI OutPt.
2.2. A problem that came with the 2010 upgrade but did not exist in my PTP12 version is playing multiple Audio Tracks via ASIO is causing my EMU 1212M/0202 PCI Sound Card to lock into a loud, buzzer noise, like a door buzzer. The only way to stop it is to "Solo" track or disable all enabled audio tracks and play a few beats of a silent track. That turns off the door-buzzer & I can play audio again. The usual fixes of close/restart or even reboot do nothing for this problem. Since, it didn't happen under PTP12, I assume, incompatibility with my 1212M. I can't get an update driver from EMU cause they have discontinued this model & have not support! My current driver is their latest!
2.3. Audio Categories (both PTP & User's) show up as "unavailable" when applying them to tracks thus, Real Time Fx in a song get lost after reloading. The ONLY fix I found has been to : 2.3.1) close PTP2010. ; 2.3.2) go to "C:\pt" folder "Properties", [Advance] & maker certain my WinXP Pro's UserID is set to Admin Grp & "Include sub-folders", then run [Apply]! When I talked to PG Tech about this, they said, they knew of this problem in Win7 but did not know of it in WinXP.
2.4. When PTP2010 Audio properties has 'Use Sub-Grps' selected, Audio tracks port OP to their proper Master Out # and Option Aux# but, MIDI tracks using, MIDI Controller Snd Fnts, Coyote & Forte DXi default to OP on Master & Option Aux #1! No matter how I configure the tracks Port (and Channel). I don't know if it was different in PTP12 or if this is supposed to function this way cause I never used Sub-Groups until recently. This problem I have not contacted PG TS about yet.
2.5. Misc very minor nuances. Like, selecting a set of measures, e.g. 3 thru 10, but the focus is currently on 1. I click to [Play Selection] PTP12 would start at Mea 3 but 2010 plays from it's current point is before the starting point. SOMETIMES, the song position will jump back to the starting point after I have disabled that feature. ASIO config in the Audio Tab preferences, fails to automatically see changes in my Sound Card's I/O settings unless I 1st, remove ALL ASIO then reset the ASIO. Not just click into the ASIO preferences as PTP12 allowed.
Well, I'm sure there R others but, these come to mind right now. IMO, the only redemption this version (2010) has over the PTP12 is the very convenient features one can use- If I can live with all of these quirks & hic-ups.
