You should have a RealChart, this is midi and if it's piano it should be recorded at the same time with the audio on their acoustic/digital piano. So you would also have the Playable RealTracks option.
If it has RealCharts (indicated by an N under the Chart column in the RealTracks Picker, and an underlined track name at the top of the main Band-in-a-Box screen), you'll see notation on that track in the Notation window. The RealChart is a transcription of the RealTrack. You can use Playable RealTracks (PT) to add notes to the track. Playable RealTracks refers to a MIDI patch played by the Sforzando VSTi synth that is similar to the RealTracks instrument. In the Notation Window, click the PT button for options - for example you can mute a region of the RealTrack and add PRT notes there.
The answer is essentially no because RealTracks are audio tracks. However, many RealTracks include RealCharts, or notation, that can display the notes as they are played.
To see which instruments have RealCharts open the RealTracks Picker and sort column 11, “Chart.” Instruments with an “N” or “Gt” in this column have RealCharts.
- Instruments with "Gt" in the Chart column have RealCharts with accurate guitar tab and on-screen guitar fretboard display.
- If the instrument is Acoustic Piano and there is an "N" in the Chart column, the instrument has a Jazz piano RealChart.
- The various other instruments with an "N" (Pedal Steel, Slide Guitar, Resophonic, Trumpet, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax) have RealCharts in standard notation.
Notation is embedded in the RealTrack and exists to accompany the audio so changing the notation will NOT change the audio.
What you can do is export the notation as midi and then use the midi to edit as you desire and play a patch. Most midi notation will need to have volume or expression values changed since they exist to be displayed and not heard.
Some Real Charts are transcriptions created by transcribing the performance at a later time. They tend to lack the natural nuances of the real performance. The exceptions are instruments like piano which have had the MIDI recorded at the same as the performance was made.

How do i export the chosen Realchart as midi ? (example, i'm using a bass Realtrack played by Ron Carter with an ''N'' label)
Drag the track name from the mixer or top bar to MID DROP over on the top left.
Where is the MID DROP ? For example if I drag the BASS (see pic) from the mixer i see a small icon, but where i'm i suppose to drop it ?
Thx
If you look in the top left corner, there is a box divided into four quadrants (or 5 depending in you count the "+" sing in the middle. Drag the bass track into the bottom right quadrant that reads "MID." Conversely, you could drag it into the + sign in the middle, and choose if you want it rendered in other (audio) formats as well.
