That's a gorgeous song. I played a lot of this kind of country in my gigging years.
I like everything about it from the vibrato guitar to the steel to the vocals and the groove.
This isn't a complaint. I would have replaced the constant steel in the background with acoustic guitar and a sparingly played piano for the background and fills in the verses. Where it picked up the solo was a perfect fill. That's just how I would have mixed it. Still totally enjoyed the song. Great job. Hi Herb. I'm glad you like it. Thanks for the comments.
