" I also am unable to use biab midi recording like a proper daw where I can isolate midi notes, copy and paste etc".
In reaper I can cut, paste, copy etc in the main DAW view without having to go into the piano roll to edit individual midi notes
in biab I can't do any of this. I need to go into the piano roll, and it only shows 1 track at a time so I can't record with a birds-eye view and see where I am in the song when laying down melody and harmony.
