I have a friend who teaches piano lessons and wants to record her students playing and put them out on a website for an online recital of sorts.

She saw the Sony Digital voice recorder for $50 and wonders if that will be adequate for recording piano, since it automatically records as an MP3 and would be easy to use.
She wants a Zoom H2 like mine but can't spend that much money to get one. And The Zoom H2 records in wave files and would need another step of processing it from wave to MP3.

Any thoughts on this.
