I’d take the approach of the funny part, leaning into the wordplay and the lightheartedness will add to that. That just gives it more charm if people interpret it differently. Play to the humor, it’s a strength! I wanted to start this year with a lighter song. Reading your story, I think I have succeeded. I don't want to make a 'funny'story', just an easy one. I fear this year will give me more 'inspiration' for sad songs... Thanks for thinking with me and giving this advise, Hans
