Ah, yes. Not obvious to find until you know. What you want are MultiStyles (2025 manual p58). By default styles have two substyles coded blue and green in the box at the left of each bar. Some styles have more substyles and you can create your own by a right-click on that box and "Define c/d". This video should help, I think: Band-in-a-Box® for Windows: Part Markers Overview
