Well, that very different, but very cool in a very different way. It has a 60's Beatles/psychedelic type feel to it. Totally appreciate what a bear it must have been to put this all together in a mix, but you've done it wonderfully well. You've done a killer, killer job on the BGVs -- also not an easy task within a mix that has so much going on. Excellent work on this Ezekiel! Love the change up at around 3:20. Good stuff!!

Scott,, What a ride! I agree with Deej's perception: Beatle-esque/psychedelic
And yeah, what a bear this must have been to mix. But holy smokes, you pulled it off perfectly! Quite a bit different than the usual fare we hear on the forum - and different in the best of ways.
The ending was great!
Congrats on a job exceptionally well done.
Best to you,
Alan

Scott,
This is excellent! Quirky great lyrics, a very cool Bowie-esque vocal and the perfect selection of tracks.
The mix on this is awesome. I know how much work must have gone into creating this one.
LOVED IT!

This song is totally nuts. I was hesitant to give it a spin in case my ears were a-salted. But I'm glad I did and now i'm happy to spread it. You're a teacher, no? Your students should now call you "The Nutty Professor". Don't worry, I'm not trying to butter you up.....Enuff already!!
This is a delightful blend of humour and catchy rhythms and I could hear Fred Schneider singing over a backdrop that sounds like “Jumping Jack Flash.” It creates a vibe that feels both nostalgic and fresh. The lyrics are clever and thought provoking (at least to me) “She’s a peanut butter mixer / And you can’t fix her,” sets the tone for an exploration of eccentricity and fun. “Jelly bellies bouncing / Uncle Skippy’s pouncing.” Here, we see a playful personification of peanut butter brands and their associated products leading to a debate between “Crunchy and creamy / Smooth and dreamy”
The subsequent lines introduce an unexpected twist: “Caterpillar eyes / Liposuction thighs.” This juxtaposition brings humour through absurdity, painting a picture that is both bizarre and amusing. It seems to poke fun at societal standards while simultaneously celebrating individuality.... and HEY, I'm with you brother on that, as per my latest song.
The line “Radiation tracksuits / Politicians on mute” further amplifies this entertaining humour. It evokes images of futuristic fashion choices alongside commentary on contemporary politics—an unexpected but entertaining pairing. A current metaphorical observation perhaps??
“Peanut Butter Mixer” is not just another food-themed song; it’s an exuberant celebration of quirks wrapped in catchy melodies and clever wordplay with its infectious beat and humorous lyrics, it embraces eccentricities while enjoying life’s simple pleasures and I'm all for that. Excellent Scott.
BTW happy peanut butter day 24/1/25

Well Scott. I didn't understand a word but that doesn't matter. It's all put together nicely and has that mystical element of "whaaat", which creates interest. I think it's more Bowie than Beatles, which for in my mind is a good thing. What fun.

I think the more risks we take and the more fun we have, the better music we produce. Very fun. Could be right off a B52's album. PS: I'm probably gonna be singing this for the rest of the evening.

Scott...what was that? I wouldn't even try to fix her...aside from mixing the peanut butter...the actual mix of this song must have been a real challenge...but you pulled it off and I enjoyed it but have no idea what to say about it (except it was very cool!!)

Thanx Scott, now I'm hungry! What a ride this was! The B52s jamming with The Rolling Stones all while singing Zappa's lyrics. All I can say it loved it!

Very 60s vibe to this fun song. Bit's of the Beatles and Beach Boys, with Zappa-eque lyrics. Great song and production.
Some favourite Waoist Adages: #1: Play on the Way. #13: Ask not for whom the flower blooms, it blooms for you. #58: Bring consciousness to it. #63: On the road to effortlessness, effort must be made. #92: Be Love Now, the rest will come on its own.

Scott, totally nuts and supremely delightful! Mario's B52s/Stones/Zappa comparison neatly sums up my impression. But this sounds really fresh and transports the listener (me, anyway) to strange, unexpected but FUN places. LOVE your vocals, and those BGVs are insane. Nice change of pace in the 2nd half that doesn't lose any of the zany intensity. If this mix took a lot of effort, it certainly paid off in a sparkly, inspired romp.

Wow! That was a cool one. Congrats!
Much fun and joy listening. Did you fall asleep between Sgt. Pepper and Pet Sounds when this song came to your mind? And WHO is this Peanut Butter Mixer? ;-)
